TEAM AND ROLE OVERVIEW
The Farmer Onboarding Officer is being recruited for a full-time position to join aQysta Nepal’s team.
The Farmer Onboarding Officer will work to onboard farmers, farmer groups, and farmer cooperatives in its supply chain to connect them to the domestic and export markets.

As such, the Farmer Onboarding Officer will be at the heart of aQysta’s mission of empowering small holder farmers an uplifting their livelihood.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify and map potential farmer groups, cooperatives, and individual producers across different regions of Nepal.
Conduct field visits to assess production potential, crop suitability, and sourcing feasibility.
Lead the on-boarding process for new farmers, including orientation on aQysta’s requirements, quality standards, and sourcing procedures.
Plan and coordinate sourcing activities for agri-products across different provinces based on production seasons and company needs.
Monitor crop production, harvesting timelines, and post-harvest handling at the field level.
Work closely with supply chain, procurement, and quality teams to ensure timely and consistent sourcing.
Supervise field-level implementation of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) and organic standards.
Coordinate with field technicians, farmers, and collection centers to ensure timely and quality production.
Monitor harvesting, drying, grading, and storage processes to maintain product quality and traceability.
BACKGROUND AND SKILLS
Strong understanding of Nepal’s agricultural systems, cropping patterns, and regional production potential.
Knowledge of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), organic farming principles, and traceability systems.
Good data management, coordination, and field supervision skills
Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Supply Chain, or related field
Minimum 2–3 years’ field experience in agribusiness, sourcing, farmer mobilization, or
Experience working directly with farmers and cooperatives
Strong leadership and communication
Willingness to travel frequently to production and processing sites.
Commitment to sustainability, organic principles, and farmer empowerment.
