TEAM AND ROLE OVERVIEW

As a key member of the Operations team at aQysta, you will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing the supply of vegetables, herbs, and other food-service products. You will play a critical role in ensuring timely availability of high-quality products while maintaining cost efficiency and smooth coordination across suppliers, warehouse, and delivery teams.

JOB PROFILE

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Source and procure vegetables, herbs, and other food-service products from multiple suppliers and marketplaces

  • Visit wholesale markets, farms, and sourcing locations to identify reliable suppliers and negotiate competitive pricing

  • Ensure timely procurement and availability of products to meet daily customer demand

  • Inspect and verify product quality, freshness, and quantity during procurement and receiving

  • Coordinate with suppliers, warehouse teams, and delivery operations to ensure smooth supply chain execution

  • Monitor inventory levels and maintain optimal stock availability while minimizing waste and losses

  • Update and manage purchase orders, inventory records, and procurement activities in the ERP/CRM system

  • Analyze supplier performance and identify alternative sourcing options to improve cost efficiency and product quality

  • Handle urgent procurement requirements, shortages, and supplier-related issues

  • Work closely with operations and sales teams to align procurement plans with customer orders

  • Support quality assurance processes and ensure compliance with company standards

  • Perform other duties as assigned

BACKGROUND AND SKILLS

Education:

  • Plus two completed (Bachelor’s degree running or completed in a related field preferred)

Experience:

  • At least 1 year of experience in procurement, supply chain, or related field preferred

Skills:

  • Strong negotiation skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Good understanding of procurement and supply chain processes

  • Ability to manage stress and deliver results consistently

  • Ability to work independently

  • Strong organizational and coordination skills
